As a kid, Kai was my favorite out of the ninjas, but Cole, I admire him a lot more, now that I understand character arks more. Him losing his mom and being in rocky (no pun intended) relationship with his dad, but he still loves his parents no matter what. And his love for his parents, is always his strength. He had a fear of losing his father in early seasons, and his love for his father, trying to protect his family, and someone who he wanted to make proud, made him push harder than ever before to save his family, thus unlocking his true potential. And in the mountain season, his love for his mother, and the promise he made for her, made him push even harder to protect the others, and keeping that promise, made him unlock the true power of his elemental powers, pushing his spirit into new might. So, his love for his parents, both strengthening him in body and spirit.... Bringing the balance to him.... To the ninja of earth.... Master of the mountain....
