The defendant earlier had a guardian demon. As guardian angels protect innocence, makes sense for criminals to have their own to continue spreading evil on the streets. The judge has the highest ranking of release which is why the police have nicknamed him Free Willy. He’s also an upper-level demon, but doesn’t know about Cole’s human form, which is what led to his downfall in the end.

What are Guardians in Charmed? (The Honeymoon’s Over) 💘 •Guardians are demons that possess mortal criminals to help them spread evil. They appear as partially transparent balding men in dark robes, beards and a rune on their forehead. •They possess human criminals and compel them to carve a demonic rune into an innocent's forehead, usually with an athame. The Guardian then leaves the possessed to absorb the soul of the victim through the rune. To vanquish a Guardian, the rune on their forehead must be pierced with a stake or another sharp object. History: •In 2000, a demon who had taken the name Judge William Hamilton was assigning Guardians to various criminals in San Francisco, including Emilio Smith. Emilio killed at least one young woman in an alley, and tried to kill Darryl. Prue threw Emilio at a dumpster and the Guardian left him. She then vanquished him by sending a metal rod into the rune on his forehead. Prue later vanquished another Guardian given to Emilio that was trying to kill Cole Turner in the San Francisco Police Department parking lot by sending an athame through the rune on its forehead. •The Judge had several Guardians possess the other courtroom officials, including Public Defender Alan Sloan, in order to cover up his plan. The Guardians gave the court officials superior strength and fighting ability when they battled hand-to-hand with The Charmed Ones. Eventually the mortals were knocked out, and the Guardians left the possessed to re-merge with the Judge. The Judge, and those guardians with him, were incinerated by Cole Turner. Powers and Abilities: Active Powers: •Possession: The ability control the bodies of other beings by inserting themselves into the bodies of others. Guardians possess whoever they're assigned to protect. •Soul Absorption: The ability to absorb the souls of the deceased. Guardians can absorb the souls of those killed by the criminals they possess, though only if a demonic rune into the victim's forehead. •Sensing: The ability to be able to sense the location of other beings. Other Powers: •Intangibility: The ability to be able to pass through solid matter. Guardians are naturally intangible and therefore impervious to physical harm, with the rune of their forehead being their only vulnerable point. •Molecular Adjustment: The ability to be able to fight through inhibitory molecular abilities. Book of Shadows: 📖 Guardians: (Entry on Guardian Demons) This symbol of darkness indicates the presence of a great evil. An opening by which demons known as the Guardians steal an innocent soul. In exchange, the Guardian offers protection of the mortal evil during his time on earth. To vanquish a guardian from whence it came you must impale it at its source of power.

Oh it's the cute episode, because I find it or I notice it that Cole is a bit keep on looking at Prue hmmmm..... 🤔🤔🤔😍😍😍😍 I hope Cole turns out to be Prues partner instead of Phoebe, since reality Cole & Prue have a lot of chemistry as in 😍😍😍💯💯💯💯

I love Cole and his whole arc minus the part where the writers assassinated his character. But I wonder what would have happened if he was just the ADA. He wasn't magical or demonic. He was just a regular human who fell in love with Phoebe. Does anyone know if there's a fanfic like that?

You know what I think Cole was supposed to be Prues partner here, or lovers but instead they let it to Phoebe. But reality if your going to look at it they are force that but if it's to Prue it's natural there. Because Prue & Cole have a lots of effortless chemistry than to Phoebe sorry about that but it's true and its reality that 💕💕
