Great job Cole . Glad you could identify that snake in the dark. It's really hard to beat spillway fishing. God bless you guys

Would love to see you do one of the methods that we use here in MS on one of your videos. It's very simple yet super effective. With your double jig rig, simply attach an unweighted 3 inch cigar float at desired depth and cast. You'll know instantly when you get a strike. It's so much fun and super easy. For more added fun, only attach one side of your cigar float and cast. I typically wrap my line inside the clip holder around 2-3 times to keep the cigar float from moving so easily...especially when you've zoned in on them and don't want to lose that magical depth. I usually run a 1/16 1/32 combination for maximum performance on seeing the strike on cigar float. Too much weight can offset the cigar float but not by much.

Liked the video I've tried the Black/Yellow crappie magnet from one of your bundles and it's doing the trick before it gets too warm I going to travel higher elevations with newer jigs I ordered. Miss that place Dakota and you were catching monsters off your boat in a fast moving spillway .

Sometime, try to bread your fish fillets with Kentucky Kernel Seasoned Flour. You can even spice it up.

Always enjoy watching you cook for Jay……lol…….so does she. Great video but take the big rig at night and try for those stripers! That would fun to watch.

Well, I finally ordered and recieved a couple of Crappie Stix. Now I have to go fishing. Hopefully I haven't forgotten how to act if I hook something. BTW, thanks for showing how you rig your double jig lines. I will be trying that as well. Good to see the mighty slab queen.

Man I need to get some crappie soon, haven't had them in a while. Smart idea when fishing solo for slabs, to take some home and pay the slab tax to the Slab Queen.

Very nice video Cole. Just wondering? Are Sauger really good to eat? Are they anything like a Walleye? Thank you.
@kraigkline43756 ай бұрын
Do you have perch in your part of the country Cole? Im pretty sure perch are related to walleye and sauger.
@rickcole23016 ай бұрын
That's why I don't like using a stringer no more unless I got one someplace where I know they ain't going to get bothered. I had four or five crappies really good size ones one year and I was looking where I should have been and some turtle came up and ate and about half of my crappie and it was a hit and run
@ianlauhon87606 ай бұрын
I've lost an entire stringer to turtles before. I had probly 30 big bluegill. I was fishing for bass after I caught what bluegill I wanted went to get my stringer and just heads and pieces left .

Got to be honest I can't see a damn thing you're doing when you tie that knot. Do it with a solid background and zoom in. Please

kzbin.info/www/bejne/i2q0Xo1pj6uah8ksi=dB-EVrjRQftuE89A This is a fishing channel not a knot tying guide. Instructional videos are all over the internet.
@rickcole23016 ай бұрын
If you're going to show us how to do knots I could well. You really knew it need to do it with a piece of string so we can see exactly what you're doing with the line. Got your 4 lb test. We can't even see the line that you're what you're doing with it. You might want to keep that in mind. Do it with twine or something. There's got to be a better way to show the people on there watching the video. I don't hear Jessica. That's all I got to say about that

@user-pj4nx8ek9q6 ай бұрын
Why do you think that?

@@user-pj4nx8ek9q bc he’s already fished there then titled the video like he’s never been there before.

And you still watch them. Also clickbaiting is how channels get more views, it’s a win win.
