Lots of excitement with the bite today. I know what you mean about the turtles getting the fish. I had a very aggressive turtle eating my crappies off of my stringer. I switched to putting mine in a metal basket for crappie. Can't use a basket for bass or catfish. Just not big enough. Enjoy those delicious catfish.

Love watching you guys down to earth loving caring people . You wouldn't be taking those turtles of here they are snapping turtles and alot bigger then that they will actual come towards you after your boat!. Some of their mouths are bigger then my hand! I even have snakes come up and watch my bobber waiting to get my fish! Sometimes between the turtles and the snakes you gotta call it a day!!

My Mom (May she rest in peace!) was the turtle magnet when we went fishing. It never failed. She'd hook turtles left and right. She took it in stride. I can still see her, in my memories, standing there with a bent rod and cigarette between her lips telling Dad to cut the line because the snapping turtle was locked down on the bottom.

I have fished most of my life, and MAY have caught 1 turtle in all those years, I am about to turn 63. I had an uncle that could not go fishing without catching turtles. You had the perfect term for him, a turtle magnet.

Cole and Jay. i couldn't help to notice that you were doing well on the limb lines many because they were not only in the shade of the trees but also they were staying in the root systems of those trees to avoid the heat of the sun. These fish are not going to be out in open water with that 100 degree sun hitting on top of that open water. i could go on but I'm sure everyone gets my point. I was surprised that you 2 were fishing in those hot temperatures but my wife and i had kids and realize you have to go when you can when you have young children. Fish on.

Will be long lining for crappie using Charlie Brewers Crappie Sliders on 1/16 and 1/8 oz jigheads. If you’ve never tried Charlie Brewers, you really should. They are just great anyway you fish them. I have watched the Arms family for a long time, Very good quality people who are willing to share their lives. It always fits when you double video content. But?
