@@ShockHat734 I think I ended up getting the Logitech G pro X2? Or the second version of this one. It fit my needs honestly because more previous one was a Corsair headset that had an even better mic than this, but barely picked up my voice so while it was crystal clear, I was too low for my friends on discord and stuff. This one, you’ve got a wider range of options to change up your voice and make it sound more punchy or deep and it picks up your voice extremely well. I like it, but note that it’s not standalone microphone quality ya know? I’d probably rate it at like 40% of a good $140 standalone PC microphone but the sound and mixer options for mic and audio on the 2nd version is killer, well worth the money. I waited for a sale though so try doing the same

One big flaw of the headset that all the reviewers seem to overlook is that the Logitech Windows drivers do NOT support stereo. This messes up some the sound for some games, for example NPC voices might be faint. The known workarounds include using the Microsoft USB Audio Device drivers or bypassing the USB sound card by connecting it to your PC using the Y-splitter cable. Both these workarounds also imply you can't use Blue Voice or any other GHub features. This is a major flaw! No other gaming headset seems to have this issue (see HyperX cloud alpha for example). It should be a simple fix from Logitech - all they need to do is enable Stereo as a "selectable" sound configuration in the Windows Sound Control Panel, which is a one line change in the driver. But no matter how much I complain about it, no driver updates seem to happen.

I need to try this headset. I've been using the V2 X from Razer which is very comfortable but I'd like to have a removable mic. There's the V2 but apparently it has some flaws even though it's supposed to be more premium than the V2 X so this Logitech headset could be a solution. It's almost just as light. Only thing I'm worried about is the volume remote thing because those things tend to adjust themselves sometimes so the resistance has to be high enough for the volume to stay in place so you don't have to keep adjusting. On the Razer headset there's a midpoint on the volume dial that locks in so to speak. I keep it there.

No the settings are only local to whatever PC you installed g hub on. The USB adapter just allows those settings to be accessed on your computer

@@ColeCaccamise Thank you for your answer. I have a Logitech G230 which is very comfortable but the design makes it break easily. The headset has an always-connected wire which I feel should be like that with wired headsets. With all of these new headsets that have removable audio wire, I fear that the design decision seems very poor and that all of a sudden it might get out. And like all designs where the parts are easily removable, in time the socket becomes looser and it loses its strength over time anyway I guess. I found a local shop that sells these for a good price, maybe I will try them out and give my feedback on the wire.

I don’t think it’s soft. Are you on windows? Ensure the volume slider on the cable is all the way up, as well as in windows. Also make sure you have the most recent update of g hub

Thanks man! I think it's great for both, but I think a lot of what you pay for with the g pros is the customization that's only on PC. Haven't used any other headsets recently so can't say for sure. But again you can't go wrong with these!
