H.E.R.O. is so retrospectively legendary, I even played the Atari 2600 version of this game on my PlayStation 2 in a compilation called ACTIVISION ANTHOLOGY 😺👍🕹️.

So true! I’ve played this game now over 4 different ports. I feel the most playable is the Atari 2600, but.. the C64 version has the best atmosphere, it really felt like you were stuck in the mines. Loving your artwork, I picked Ninja 🥷 keep them coming! And again thanks for taking a look!!!

What joystick did you use to play it?

@@claudioventurini7422 I used a Slik Stik for the run, it was a bit trickier as it only has the one fire button, but manged to workout how to set the dynamite and shoot with that button. Thanks for looking!

@@claudioventurini7422 I’ve not tried the retrobit cable, I use the icode adapters, I really like them they also let me play on the Retro Achievements site which is good fun. Really appreciate the kind words regarding the videos, I really just want to document my gaming and if someone can find a tip or 2 , get some find memories and enjoyment then I’m happy too!👍

I had no idea that you could destroy walls just by shooting at them for a long time! But, I guess that's a fail-safe in case you use up all of your dynamite. Is this true of other versions of the game such as the 2600 version?

@JustWasted3HoursHere Yeah it is across all the platforms where you can shoot the walls, the risk though is the time you lose to finish the level, shooting the “2 layer” walls takes a pretty decent chunk, and if you run out of time you lose that life. Thanks for taking the time to comment!! 👍
