When I saw this game in a local sale paper at a place called "Video2U", I remember I made the decision right then to trade in my Atari 2600 for the 2600 expansion, and I had it for a month before my birthday came and I got the ColecoVision and DKJ then! 👍🙏

I always thought it was very clever on the "Chains" level that DK Jr can go UP faster on 2 chains, but DOWN faster on 1. An interesting gameplay mechanic. Up until the Nintendo Famicom/NES came out, this was the best version of the arcade game (and most other arcade ports back then too).

Colecovision had great graphical abilities but man did the controller suck.

Well that colecovision controller was atleast better then the awful intelevision controller with it’s wheel of despair,it was very hard to get response out of it once trying to move a character because sometimes the main character did move,sometimes it didn’t move at all while other times it moved very jiddery or it moved on without the intention to keep moving on,also you could berally feel any feedback on those side buttons of those controllers,phew☹️

4 days ago your playing on a old console that wasn’t as great as the arcade and that’s no where close to PS4 Xbox one I’m believing everyone is playing on the PS5 Xbox series X Nintendo Switch or PC the real consoles that weren’t here in the 80’s when it was the 80’s I was shopping for arcade machines instead of consoles I buy who is the best not who plays the worst Atari is the worst the coleco Pac-Man sucks also fake arcade game with stickers on not the real rom everything was bad in the 80’s what didn’t suck was the super stars in WWE NBA NFL the singers music videos the best songs of all time those were affordable didn’t cost $3000 like the games did to buy a new upright Pac-Man it would cost $3000 it was worth buying cause the consoles sucked
