Added a Carburetor jet kit and a high flow air filter to the Coleman CC200U minibike 196cc engine. Did a top speed and zero to thirty run to see if the changes added any performance.

Love the video. IDK where to get the exact carburetor you have, I cannot find it online anywhere. Is it relatively cheap? Like 25-50 dollars range, because im just a kid with a ct200u just trying to rip around town.

I put gopower sports stage 1 carburetor, air intake, and exhaust.....bike sounds great but it seems to die anytime you stop. Any adjustments you can think of? Gov spring is also off

lets see if that stock carb can fly according to my calculations if ur doing 90 on your bike before you hit the boosters toss the stock carb off a bridge and it should fly for about 15secs..... my 3.5 is faster but if u change the clutch u will get some more top speed good vid MOVIn on uP

What shood the timing be on a arc billet speedway fly wheel with a 265 cam billat rod and 22 pound springs I keep getting kickback on tje dam pull its frustrating 😤

The cam card shows 32-36 degrees timing on a 265. I get mine on the compression stroke before I pull it.

Great videos!! Any suggestions on jet sizing for a CT200u-ex at 7,500 ft plus altitude? Only has a stage one kit and 60 tooth rear sprocket. I know it is running very rich so I want to go down in jet size but don’t know stock jet size either. Thanks!!

The Coleman bikes have an EPA carb. The jets are not supposed to be removable. You can still remove them with an easy out .If you don't want to mess with it you can always use a Tillotson or predator carb.They go right on there and have removable jets. Here is a link for high altitude jets for the Coleman Tillotson and predator carbs. www.ebay.com/itm/133263040871 You can also use a VM22 Mikuni. They are about fifty bucks for the complete kit with manifold. They already have a 95 or 98 main jet from the factory. That would be great for high altitude. They are also super easy to tune.

@@Black66 I finally figured out where the responses to my comments go ha! Thanks for this. You know your stuff (of course). I ended up getting a stage 1 kit from GPS and it had a 95 jet in the non epa carb and it seems to have really brought the engine to life :) so far so good! Thanks again!

Cleaned my carbs on my 2 ct200u's and noticed I have been using them for 10 years and neither of them have emulsion tubes but they run great. But all the videos i watch on re jetting show emulsion tubes WTH

If you're talking about the stock style Tillotson carb. Not the double pumper with the diaphragms. I like the slide carb. It's just super easy to tune. But nothing wrong with the Tillotson carb. Especially if you put a jet kit in it.

I cleaned out the stock carb on the ct 200 because of idle issues. It wasn't too dirty. But now it has this pulsing idle. It runs good while riding it but at a stop it gets rough again. Have you ran into this problem ? Any ideas ?

No, I haven't had that problem with that carb. Only because I usually swap it out because it's an EPA carb with the tamper-proof jet. You can still get the jet out but I'm too lazy, so ill usually change the entire carb out for an adjustable one or a slide carb. Make sure that the low-speed jet is clean and that o ring is on there. Stuff can easily get lodged in those carb passages. Make sure everything is tight with no leaks. That can cause a bad idle. Good spark plug too

@@fernandocastillo8026 It's hard to recommend a specific jet because Everyone lives at different altitudes with different engine mods etc. I would grab a jet kit like the one in this video and install the kit in the carb and see how it runs. I got 34 mph on my ct200 all stock except a mikuni And a header. Although I probably weigh 100 lbs more than you. So I thought 34 is in line woth your results roughly? 26mm mikuni and I’m at sea level

Ya, there all a little different depending on the weight of the rider , elevation jetting and stuff like that . I have other videos with a CT200U -ex with the Mikuni and header . Check out my video coming out on Saturday .

Yes, He removed the governor screw. I went ahead and bypassed the spring and installed a rod. Now it is bypassed totally. Except for the wheel inside the crankcase.

@@jimcornish242 Ya, the 196cc is a good engine. The kit I used came with the studs. Some kits don't need the shorter studs. If the kit doesn't come with the shorter studs but needs them. The stock studs can be cut down. They only have to be shorter maybe a quarter of an inch or so.

Yes, it will still run but it will run better with the new emulsion tube which is the gold thing you were talking about.

Take the spark plug out and clean it off w a paper towel just don't get anything on it. And get some starting fluid and put sum in the carburetor

A lot of times depending on your elevation etc You need a header pipe to go along with the extra fuel with the jetting and air filter. The stick muffler is super restrictive. Check out the 100 Predstor 212 build. The end of that video shows just restrictive the stock exhaust is.
