Our Coleman tent only lasted 32 years. Used 100s of times in every state. Put up and down 40 times in 8 weeks around the top end. Sadly the 2011 floods killed it.

I got the 4 person version of this with the groundsheet thing that they make. Good tent but unfortunately it doesn't get to go camping often enough. Better get myself organized.

@@SnowysOutdoors Yeah I was looking forward to another trip down to Deep Creek Conservation park with my mate but due to the weather and his work schedule we couldn't go. Pretty disappointed. At least my schedule is now free for any time of the year so it's a matter of getting sorted. Set a date to sneak off and I'm ready.🤣🤣

I'd go for the 8P, would be enough room for beds and gear. 10P is much larger and heavier, I would only buy that if you were planning to have more kids & a bigger family in the future ~ Lauren

why is the bigger size less expensive?

It comes down to the way they are purchased, if the larger one was part of a larger order then the costs saved on shipping and quantity buys are passed onto the customer. ~ Ben

@@SnowysOutdoors I beg to to differ, the 8 people tent is lighter and a bit smaller, most families have under 4 members thus is more popular, material and labour doesn't set the cost but how much people are willing to pay will.
