I was born in February 3 1973...as of 7/14/24 Coleman YOUNG WAS IN MY LIFE FOR THE FIRST 25 YEARS OF MY LIFE... INDIRECTLY... BECAUSE I WAS RAISED THERE EXCEPT THE 3 YEARS I LIVED IN HOUSTON,TX WHICH IS WHERE I ACTUALLY MET HIM. HE WAS DOWN TO EARTH.

During World War II, Coleman Young served in the 477th Medium-Bomber Group (the renowned Tuskegee Airmen) of the United States Army Air Forces as a second lieutenant, bombardier, and navigator.[8][9] As a lieutenant in the 477th, Young played a role in the Freeman Field Mutiny in 1945. Some 162 African-American officers were arrested for resisting segregation at a base near Seymour, Indiana.

I remember the SCANDAL IN HIGH SCHOOL IN 89 I THINK when he was called out About his affair with his secretary. Where they showed in the paper ..how much money he would give to his son. It was like a MILLION DOLLARS.

we expect you to have some depth to your comment. in detroit we must have real conversations. a lot of people fail to address how duggan can't manage. lets use this thread as a opportunity to address Duggan's career. Radium Clock are you prepared to do that?

Overseeing the cocaine trafficking in Detroit didn't do shit for the economy. Just caused misery and suffering for Detroit residents who had to deal with ravenous addicts on the streets killing people for money to get their next fix. Young was the ultimate politician with the do as he say,not as he do attitude and for that his ass was strung up in Hell right next to Gil Hill.

@@spunbearing65 This man was one of the biggest crooks that Detroit ever produced. I'm very progressive in as much as I've never voted for a republican in my life but Young's administration was full of crooks trying to make $$$ on Detroit's drug dealings. Hell, his niece was married to one of the biggest drug kingpins in Detroit.
