Although it's amazing that you're helping others learn--and you can impact the world through peoples voices--I think you would have a large impact in making your own songs too. I've heard ygl2ee and it's a great song, I just wish there were more like it (lyrically). I recommend that you release an album or something because you actually have the potential to "change the rap game" (not even close to sarcastic here). Don't let anything sound far-fetched, you can actually do this.
@ColeMizeStudios8 жыл бұрын
+Anonymous WOW!! You may never know how encouraging your comment is to me! I haven't said anything publicly but it's actually a goal of mine to release 1 song each month this year and possibly start a music club next year for those who want to support me as an artist. I can't thank you enough for taking the time to encourage me! It's my goal to impact the rap game as a whole in a positive manner, I don't speak publicly about it to much but rather let the work do all the speaking for me :) THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!! Much love and respect!!!!!! :) - Cole Mize

That true for english but might be wrong for my language. We have 6 " tone mark " that can change the meaning of the word. I’m getting confused with the stressed syllables and extra 16th notes, I can’t seem to understand what it is you’re doing.
@ChristopherFranko5 жыл бұрын
so imagine a bar Bar has divided into 4 "beats" and each beat has 4 notes. That makes these notes a 1/4th note {[] [] [] [] | [] [] [] [] | [] [] [] [] | [] [] [] []} If you break down the beat into 8 notes, each note is an 8th note So what he means by stressing a syllable is, if the previous bar has a section where it used 2 syllables and took up 2 16th notes, you can stretch a one syllable word to cover the space of those 2 1/16th notes because 2/16ths is 1/18th I Love you {[] [] [] ~} Like wine {[] [- - -]} Where wine is stressed, wiiiiiiine for 3 1/4th notes Does this make sense? lol

It really depends on the beat that you're rapping to as I discuss in this lesson on picking the right beats kzbin.info/www/bejne/nqC3p2OjdsqmjMk 11-13 syllables is a good place to start but keep in my that syllable counts isn't an accurate measurement as some syllables require more space than others as I talk about in this video . quick question.... so if you DO NOT rap in this "16 count" that you're speaking off is it still considered to be a rap? and if so would you mind doing a video that shows how to or examples of legit rap songs that are in an "8 count" OR is the "16 count" the set in stone standard?
@ColeMizeStudios8 жыл бұрын
+Zur Music good question! It's important to note that I'm not rapping to a 16 count, I'm simply using different combinations of notes. I primarily use 16th notes in this lesson but when I'm saying stressed syllables I'm actually giving those syllables the space of two 16th notes which is technically an 8th note which are the notes used in the 8 count. If you haven't already make sure you check out my video on creating cadence buff.ly/1ooq7Bl as I go into this in much more detail. There's no set in stone way you have to rap. 16th notes are just very commonly used on rap music since they are not to fast or slow. Always remember in rapping there are no rules only techniques. I hope this helps you out :) - Cole Mize
@zurmusic76228 жыл бұрын
+ColeMizeStudios will do and i'm just wondering as i'm a rookie in this whole rapping thing (actually gonna start making videos and all that jazz soon once i figure out mixing/mastering or find someone who can :D ) so i wanted to make sure that if i made a song but it's not this "16 count" that it would still be ok because i tend to rap in more of an 8 count (maybe cuz i'm new and 16 is kinda hard to do at the moment to me at least) idk if i'm making sense at all....lol but like on one of your practice beats i did the whole thing to an "8 count" (with a few stress out words) if i could figure KZbin out enough i'll try to private message you it and see (then again idk if you do 1 on 1 things like that and don't wanna become an annoyance to you_
@ColeMizeStudios8 жыл бұрын
+Zur Music lol naa you're good you're making perfect sense :) No there's nothing wrong with using the speed of an 8 count but it will be crucial to pick out the right beat to compliment that type of flow. I did a video about this here buff.ly/1Qpl221 A rap song that uses a lot off the 8 count is project pat Chicken Head kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y4nEhpyDmKl5kNU notice how it's more of a club type track. +Jimmy Donohue I've been working hard behind the scenes to make a living. Unfortunately making free videos don't pay the bills lol but I haven't stopped I just haven't been able to release anything recently due to a very busy schedule and can't wait to share more with you in the future. Thanks for asking :) - Cole Mize

+German Nazi I'm sorry I can't help you much there as I don't have a stutter problem and don't know enough about what causes someone to stutter to give advice about it. I'm sorry I couldn't help you out :) - Cole Mize

+ColeMizeStudios I only stutter sometimes and I can rap however some. Words I get stuck on and it messes up my flow
@ColeMizeStudios8 жыл бұрын
+German Nazi Do you know what causes you to stutter? I know someone who stutters but doesn't when they rap and am curious is there a way you can control it?
@CubeMaths7 жыл бұрын
I used to stutter(warning: very low level of stutter), what helped me to overcome stuttering was to pace myself(talk/rap slowly and gradually as I got stuttering to minimum/zero then up the tempo slowly. rinse and repeat) and 100% memorize what I wanted to rap.
