I really enjoy your videos because they demonstrate what local football should be about; a chance for people and families to see good football in a decent atmosphere at prices that won't cripple you. Your commentary is always fair and balanced and you bring a fan and family perspective. I'm a Reds' man but really felt for Oisin when we went ahead. That's football, when the success comes it'll be all the sweeter for him. You were right to call out the sectarianism. I was sat near them and regret not leaving as I'd my son with me. Those responsible could not find Solitude on a map and they seem determined to infect everyone with their bile. Thanks for that comment. It’s appreciated. I try and make things as natural as I can. If things happen such as the sectarian stuff I will make a conscious decision if I should mention it or not. At this point I can say that the final was not the first game where there has been some but it’s the first time I have mentioned it as it was a showpiece event with a larger crowd and by all accounts some of it was heard on the live tv broadcast.

We face it every time we’re at Windsor Park and if it’s a final, it’s worse. It’s been going on years and it’s hard to know how to stop it. Sunday was advertised as a family occasion and prices set accordingly and it didn’t stop them. I’d my son who has cerebral palsy. The noise of them being set off frightened him. I did not want him to be immersed in the bile that was coming from our side and we were sat right beside them. It ruined it for me and looking back I regret not leaving early. Love the way your wife is clearly humouring you, it rings a lot of bells. Keep up the great work and do call out the sectarianism because unless it’s faced it will never be defeated.

I’ve time for all clubs and fans in the league wether it be the blues or ballymena or the reds. I know that the party tunes are not part of the normal singing but I had to call it out. Cliftonvilles quality was too much for coleraine and coleraine sort of imploded. Cliftonville are the team to beat and I wouldn’t be surprised if they win the league and Irish cup. The game was great for the neutral, I decided to buy a ticket on Sunday morning and went down in the coleraine end. Great game and well worth the money.

I think it’s time he called it a day. Whereas Curtis Allen should have been brought on earlier, he’s a superb striker and was great for us at the glens.

Another very good Video, Mr Peaky 👍👏 losing a cup final is heartbreak. If I May, I'll give my take. Very exciting game. I thought Coleraine were well in control but then gave away sloppy goals. This is where I think the difference is between the IL & LOI, LOI teams seem to be better organised defensively. A couple of goals as I say were sloppy, Coleraine's first the keeper was poor. Coleraine's 2nd, and Cliftonville's 3rd were class. Atmosphere was great, pity about the sectarian chants, no need for it. One conciliation is, it didn't come across on TV. Your channel is growing, I'm sure the Rovers content has helped, for better or worse. Keep up the good work 👍

Neither side did much first half. Coleraine started second half well, but from the moment Gormley scored it seemed only a matter of time. I think you were optimistic not wanting penalties at 2-2 because Cliftonville had the game won once the equaliser went in (though you can tell you kinda felt that yourself) - it seemed to knock the will power out of Coleraine. Shame about the wankers at our end throwing the fireworks down. One of them landed dangerously closely to young children.

Great video mate, after a terrible first half the game became a thriller, the 3 subs paddy made completely changed the game for us. Glad I somehow didn’t hear the sectarian stuff from either side must have been lucky with where we were in the lower stand… always a shame when a minority spoil things. very tough one to take for Coleraine, but as I say great video you’ve made here!

Interesting seeing the red card from that angle. First challenge is 50:50, then imo on the second challenge the Cliftonville player leaves one on the Coleraine player, yet nothing is done about it given it’s right in front of the linesman 😮 Ref has his back to McLaughlin & Curran & linesman walks past them, yet they both seen it & send off McLaughlin🤣 No arguments with red card, yet nothing for the instigator or those on both sides who ran into stoke the fires 🤔

Cliftonville player left one in Carson which is what kicked it all off. Little odds now. James shouldn’t have got into the middle of it. Having said that the game should have been closed out at 2-0 and we wouldn’t be talking about the slap.

@@ThePeakys Watching live and then the first time on replay I couldn't understand how we were awarded a free kick when your player won the ball and McDonagh slid in late. But if you listen back carefully you can hear the ref blow his whistle just before McDonagh's slide makes contact, so I suspect what most likely happened is that he actually gave the free for the challenge on McDonagh by another Coleraine player a couple of seconds earlier. Looks like he played advantage, because McDonagh was able to continue his run, then blew for the free kick when McDonagh over ran the ball. Which in turn effectively allowed McDonagh to get away with a free one.
