many of us get into relationships sometimes knowing there's a good chance it won't last! but the human heart was born to love, so most of us take that chance regardless!

It's actually refreshing to hear new/younger artists actually put something out other than "bro country". The whole beer, dirt road truck routine is beyond played out. Actually playing instruments and meaningful lyrics, not made up words simply to rhyme, really does work. Hopefully you continue with this path. Great job.

You brought instant tears to my eyes. I'm recently a single mom of four and I could never understand being from a broken family but I can say that it is without a doubt the hardest thing I've ever had to do not just once but twice. Both your mom and dad love you so much and I hope you never ever forget that. Sometimes we grow apart and sometimes we love so hard that we must love from a distance. My heart goes out to you. Ive been away from my four children for too long and I know not a second goes by that I don't think of them I promise you that you are so loved and when things look hopeless just remember that you are the one thing that your mom and dad did that they will cherish for ever and ever and no one can take that away. You will get thru this. ❤️

The day she told me she wanted to break up I died, my mind raced, I went through every stage of grief 9 years together But… she was hurting, she was depressed and needed help, and didn’t want me She is still a friend of mine, and I speak to her fairly often She doesn’t know that I’ve carried a torch for her since I was a boy, and I still do

I can relate with u on this man... I wasn’t good enough for mine either, she decided to cheat on me, lied to me for our entire relationship, and then leave me for one of her “old friends”... she just changed like a light switch went off in her head one day and then suddenly I wasn’t good enough... even though I treated her like a queen and spoiled the hell out of her. I loved her more than life itself too, and tbh it hasn’t gotten any easier for me, it’s been just about a year for me.

My ex showed me this song even though he knew I didn’t like country. He said it reminded him of us because we were always on and off. I thought it was so cute and I actually ended up liking the song. I feel now that we’re broken up I didn’t get to appreciate this song back then. I’m just now realizing how deep these lyrics are. The fact that someone would go through the pain and agony of losing the person they love and having their hearts broken over and over, again and again just to experience the love and the good memories with them again even knowing that every ending will be painful is truly heartbreaking and beautiful.

10 years together, and a beautiful little girl together. Still one of my best friends, and an amazing mom. We both have found our new loves, but I am a better man in every aspect because of our time together. I couldn't be happier that we have each found our loves and I wouldn't change a dam thing even if I knew the end. Thank you. :)

I'm so sorry he chose too. My ex did as well 4 years ago this August that just past. I felt all that this song says before he took his life. Being that we didn't speak for almost 2 years before he did, I knew we weren't together for good reasons but despite them, I still would do it all over again. Your loss is so much greater so I apologize if my relating made it seem otherwise. Your marriage and his place was so much of your life. I hope you've found your way through grief or are on the way. Are life choices make us who we are today. Even if others change them. We learn.....we end up with better. Even if it seems the end at the time. We come put ahead and better. Happier.....hopefully for most. Life's journey never tells us what's ahead. Just what we left behind. We learn from past and do better it future. That's the true pleasures of life . We need to learn for ourselves. Figure out what we want. It's not about someone figuring out for us. Just that special someone to share it with.

Used to hate country music but this song really got me into the genre. I’ve lived in the south my whole life and still do so it always came as a surprise when I told people I wasn’t a country fan, but after this song I’ve been getting into it so much. Beautiful job on the song and amazing lyrics.

It's almost been three years since she broke my heart. There have been others but she will always have a special place in my heart. And I know someday she will come back to me because of how she acts when I'm with someone new or how she still pops up in places randomly. But I know that it would destroy what I've built without her if I go back.

I've never been with anyone, so I have no clue what a breakup is like, but just reading through the comment section, I'm at the verge of tears because it looks like everyone is just so strong when the time came for them to have to split with their better halves, but in reality it must have been hell for all of you to have to go through such a thing. I can't even imagine what it's going to be like for me if I ever go through this. I applaud you all for being able to move on and hope that you are all in a better position than you were when you had to end your relationship(s) with the previous person you were with. 😭

it's been 5 years since you left, and every time i just think of you, and i remember what it was during the first few years, and how it ended up at 7, that love for you still sits in my heart, and it always will, even when you didn't feel the same way back, If i could, i would, but things would need to change, which you were never fond of, so I listen to this song, wishing it was different, when it never could be....

This song is the answer to so many questions I have had this past year. Even though it was the worst "break up" I guess. How do you hate someone you've loved for 20 years? How do you just walk away from the realist love you've experienced? Why do they hurt you yet say they love you? Why can't I forget? Would I do it again? The answer is, Absolutely! The good times overpower the bad however, I would have been more cautious and kept the wall up when you continued to tell me to let you in. I guess we live and learn. And I will never be able to believe you or trust you again.

I’ve always been the type to move on really quick, but something is different about this girl. No matter how hard I try, I can’t move on. She’s expressed the way she feels (which isn’t the same way I feel) but the thought of not having her breaks my heart.

I have always been like this, I absolutely never give second chance. My husband and I have been together for 10 yrs. Even if it tore my heart out I would still not give him a second chance if we ever broke up. At the point I have left someone they have allready repeatedly not listened, heard, or taken me seriously; and broken my heart a 1000 times.

Break Up in the End Cole Swindell I still walk in that bar a little drunk I still ask you what you're drinking, what's your name I still kiss you by the shuffleboard, last call at 2AM Even though we break up in the end I'll introduce you to my mom and dad Say "I think I love her" when you leave that room I'd still not take their advice when I say you're moving in Even though we break up in the end Even if I knew you'd be the one that got away I'd still go back and get you Even if I knew you'd be my best and worst mistake Oh, I'd still make it with you Over and over, again and again Even though we break up in the end I'd still play my favorite song in your car Let you love me to it, 'til it felt like ours Now all I hear is you in it, but I'd still let you ruin it Even though we break up in the end Even if I knew you'd be the one that got away I'd still go back and get you Even if I knew you'd be my best and worst mistake Girl, I'd still make it with you Over and over, again and again Even though we break up in the end You've just had one too many tonight You're just calling 'cause you're lonely, that's okay But you know if you come over, I can't not let you in Even though we'll break up in the end I'd do it over and over, again and again Even though we break up in the end
