I've seen the images with the dolls in the box. I think the selling point in here is the packaging, the diorama is really beautiful. The dolls look better from the angle I have seen so far. I wish the price is less than what Mattel is asking for, I would surely get it if the price is much reasonable.

I don't blame you at all. I was going back and forth if I am going to buy it or not, I really love the diorama. I didn't know I'll end up hesitating after I have already made up my mind on not buying it.

Yeah though, the price is a little outrageous. $90 is the price I would think for two dolls that would probably be $45 each

I agree, $90 sounds to be a fair price for both of the dolls, however, I think due to the diorama style packaging, I somehow understand the steep price for it. It is still costly though.

Wow, this is my first time seeing this set! I agree that I was iffy on Steve Trevor's face accuracy but it looks better the more I look at it.

Hi! Yes, I really didn't like it at first, but the more you look at his doll, the more similarities you could see.

I'm NOT feeling the bald area on the side of Diana's head. That is ridiculous! Thank you for pointing out that flaw because the production photos only show the flattering aspects of the doll. Even the play line version that is much cheaper has thicker hair and no balding. Molded hair for Steve would have worked better....a perfect version of Steve would be to take some aspects of this doll and combine it with other aspects of the less expensive play line version.

I am a big fan of the movie and as much as I would love to own this version as well, I just can't keep my eyes closed on some of the flaws, particularly Diana's hair! The stock photos would of course just show the good sides of the doll, I didn't really notice the bald spot right away until I was zooming the pictures so I can see more details. Steve could be better though, I wish we had an option of getting a more accurate looking Steve, but for now, this is the best one we have so far.

Maybe that's just the original and the other dolls won't have that bald spot

I sure hope so. This is one of the prototypes, so hopefully the final product itself is not like this.
