This is best liberal arts school I have ever seen. It offer students freedom to think and explore but provide proper guidance. They truely care about students and offer the best in real action. The leaders at school are critical thinkers and not follow the norm if it make no common/logic sense. It is the place can boost critical way to think for young generations. They equip students with the most important ability to go into the real world. Very rarely seen schools in a crazy world we are currently in.

I think that it is great that no matter what major you take, there will be core courses you have in common with others. I think this sets up a strong base for understanding, while also connecting the community.

I hope this college is dedicated to rational inquiry and doesn't promote the woke agenda. I want to send my kids there but only of critical thinking is front and center. and they denounce the woke agenda

I have no idea what the "woke agenda" is but it sounds like something from Fox News' package of "scary things" you should worry about that you don't need to worry about. Colgate is a top small liberal arts college where open-minded inquiry is expected, where a small group of basic knowledge courses (the "core") is required of all students (along with a major, of course), and where bright, motivated students get a first-rate education -- as I did and my daughter did. It does not indoctrinate anyone. You're free to think as you wish. Like most top colleges, students tend to be open-minded, inquisitive, hard-working, and they will be successful later in life. Is that the "woke agenda"?
