I remember being a day clean and bumping “Drug Addiction” and relating to it so much. I thought to myself I can never achieve anything good like this guy. Now I’m 4 years clean and I got married we have a house cars and everything I ever wanted. Relationships have been restored and I have friends like I never thought I would ever have. I now work for an amazing Substance abuse facility in beautiful Florida and I use my experience to help people get help whom are struggling with addiction. I listen your music and I don’t just hear it I feel it. Thank you 🙏 I know you always hear how your music inspires people but I had to tell you again. That you matter me personally. You told me “Dont ever let anyone tell you what you can can’t do.” And I dont.

This man was one of few who figure of speech lets just say, "stopped me in my tracks"... Had no clue who he was when I heard him but the words & roads of darkness he spoke of was the same roadside were my suffering was left to lay. All of his words were so fimaliar to myself and many others I care about some whom made it out alive and other like myself that held and clutched on to the light he shon on threw our darkest tunnels even if it was the smallest light of hope it was something to hold on to.. Something to believe in and something to remind us all the we are not traveling these dark roads of aloneness.
