So this video made me want to share what my wife and I do with our companies. She owns a startup home health company and my brother and I own small (10-15 people depending on whats going on) a firearms manufacturing company. We try as hard as we can to reach out to the local high school and find students with roughly upbringings to teach them and guide them. We try to show the that there is a life other than the life of the streets. Now with my business if they have a criminal record I can't take them on in the shop but we have plenty of work outside the shop in other avenues my brother and I are into that we get them into (mechanics and fabrication in the motorcycle shop). We try to help as many kids as possible. We can't help them all but we do recommend them to other friends when they come to us asking for a job. Outreach is an awesome thing all you have to do is want to do it.
