Not gonna lie, this was the first thing I tried. That loss is hilarious, Lash is actually lecturing the enemy. I don't even think she has the capacity to get a second round of transports in, her first set of infantry spent 10 turns trying to capture the city past the mountain.

@@bon7029 After having played it, and having watched someone exploit the hell out of the old AI in a speedrun, it most definitely doesn't. The AI gets very huffy when you try to walk past it to capture its base.

​@Bon he did a video with the exact same mission on the Gameboy advance system and lash lost... it's not the same. It may use the same engine, but it's definitely not programmed the same. The ai doesn't cheat anymore in fog of war either you can trap enemy units in the fog

Just as "AI always attacks APCs" is a classic for AW1, "AI never moves unit off 3 star terrain if it doesn't have anything to attack" was a classic of all the AW games and I wish they kept it.

If you build units you do risk losing via rout, which is how most people would usually lose this mission I mean. Not many. Its still a pretty easy mission lol.

It wouldve been funnier honestly if they didnt fix/change this map. The AI is changed up over all for the better but I wouldve loved if they made the ai on this specific map do something that would cause you to win if you did nothing lime the original.

And even if you're a weirdo who doesn't care about score, if you can't beat this mission legit, there's no way you're finishing the campaign. You don't gain anything from this; it's just a funny, unusual interaction. Sounds like an easter egg to me.
