Colin has the talent of dropping in and out of accents. His natural accent is of course from Armagh in Northern Ireland, but he has a perfect RP English accent as Merlin and can do a very decent American accent.

That's because he's from the North. The other two are from around Dublin and imo the Dublin accent is the easiest to understand for someone not used to accents. I've been lucky to travel over most of Ireland, and Pretty much everywhere else have thicker accents than Dublin, but especially in the North.
