54:40 Imagine Opie on Tough Crowd having to do serious political input and pepper in jokes. “Idk man all sides are the same to meeeee.”

Both Opie and Anthony are off the air, yet Scorch is still on terrestrial radio with a solid, semi-popular morning show. Too funny.

Holy crap, I didn't believe it at first, but I checked and yeah, he's doing a show on 92.9 with some hole called T-Ri. It's a bit sad though since his voice is getting worse and barely comes out now. He seems to be the co-host to T-Ri and more of an idea man with things like Fd up Facts and talkin' rockin' as the new forms of weird news and douche or dressing.

Scorch makes about 28,000 a year and Ant makes a little over a million a year after all his network bills, I wouldn't say it's even close. Opie is another story.
@Jimbow-sz9kh3 ай бұрын
@@BetterThanYou81You actually believe Ant makes anywhere near a Milly still? Even after his cop buddy was skimming money from the company and then they suddenly had to shut it down? He'll be back to climbing into A/C ducts before the alcoholism finally takes him guaranteed

How could anyone work with Opie?

This show was just fun and amazing back in the day. We didn't notice how terrible Opie was until much much much later in the show's run. Anyone that says otherwise is either lying or wrong. It's easy for new listeners to jump on the Opie trashing bandwagon in retrospect, but at the time... Almost nothing. Ofc there were always haters, but nothing like there is now. The message boards hated Patrice and more than Opie, if you could believe it. Things were just different, we didn't know. He also had some rare moments that were very fucking funny and carried him for a long time.

It’s honestly impossible to listen to Opie go on and on for an extended period of time about shit that no one could ever give two shits about. Anthony and Jimmy were absolute saints putting up with that.

And get charged with murder? You can't just shoot people for no reason you fucking retard. He'd need to prove in court that his life was threatened, and there's no way a white guy who has a reputation for talking about racial issues could shoot a black woman and get a fair trial in NYC. I know you anti gunners are morons, but you can't criticize someone for having too many guns while simultaneously criticizing them for not being trigger happy enough, you're contracting yourself.

He actually was carrying on that night, he has mentioned this several times. He was assualted by the woman and didnt draw his gun. Thats how a responsible gun owner behaves. Just because she threw a few punches doesnt mean you can use deadly physical force against her. If she drew a knife and came at him? He would have one notch scratched in that gun today.
