Tbf, after the whole Venom killing Kraven thing, Jameson said on his podcast that everyone saw the photos of Venom, and the bloodbath that he has caused. I'm not sure if triple J meant that they have footage of the whole thing, or only the aftermath of it tho. But in the gameplay, you can actually see people behind those police barricades watching from a distance. And Jameson thought it was Spidey that turned into a monster. I understand where Liam is coming from, and what Colin said about Venom being an Oscorp experiment. I think they are both right. Like why wouldn't people there assume that it's an alien? Or People like Jameson think that it's just another experiment from Oscorp gone wrong that changed spidey into a monster. And It's not that far-fetched if people like Sandman, who also can change in any shape of form he wants, like being a giant sand monster and also makes copies of himself, exist in that world.

I find the whole "They see this ALIEN thing" argument stupid. This is a world where the average new yorker regularly sees a humanoid vulture flying through the skies, a giant armored ryno man, a dude fucking flying around the skies with lightning coursing around his body, a giant lizard monster, and more. What the fuck's gonna make them deduce that Venom is instantly alien and not just another monster or superhuman freak? The avengers exist so they've seen Hulk. It's just so dumb and the only reason Venom is "obviously alien" to us is because we already have that knowledge ingrained into our heads. The random asshole on the street trying to sell hotdogs isn't gonna look at Venom and immediately say "Wow, that's so different from all the other freaks I see on the news it must be from another planet"

So what I got home boy wasn't paying attention to anything that was going on. 1.the whole devil breath was because they didn't know what the symbiote was doing weather it was healing him properly or not all they knew it was keeping Harry stabilized so once Harry woke up they was doing test while he was out of the vat. 2.peter was tired and exhausted and he was going up against an enemy he didn't have much info on. 3.carnage was a piece of venom or offspring and was kept secured from the piece Harry had on him and it doesn't become carnage until touching Cassidy blood.

And I know removing the symbiote takes a toll on his body, but he shouldn't be lower than human level. And the fight later proves he isn't just human level. Unless you wanna argue he regained all his strength in that minute, that's a clear nerf done by writers who hate peter

@@alatusedits i agree the cane scene is silly and has bad writing but it's not consistent whatsoever he can casually react to kraven who scails to electro, electro has massively hypersonic speeds (i think something like that) and yes he does have the symbiote in that fight but It wouldn't buff is speed to an unreasonable amount. Also the fridge is at best a nitpic but here are some explanations. So just to get it out of the way he wasn't at 100% stated by connor blah blah blah we already know that but even if he was at 100% it wouldn't be a big deal because most of that damage was by venom not the fridge. Peter wasn't "stuned by the fridge" or "pinned by the fridge" he took most of that damage from venom.

@@Threegun3316 did you watch the scene? He didn't even get hit by venom. Mj got hit since she reacts faster than peter, she had to protect peter who's a superhero and she's a normal human. So there's no saving this terrible writing. And this is consistent in the game
