CALEB IS NOT BROKEN anybody that says this rhetoric RUN All you gotta do is watch him play when the line had competence and you’ll see great fundamentals & mechanics from a natural pocket passing QB. Play breaks down “He’s said it himself, he don’t like to run” and you get an outstanding gunslinger thrower at QB. Accurate downfield regardless, just folks have slept on this kid big time. Oh and btw the narrative he can’t play on time & in rhythm is false too he’s showed that also last year.
@hjayc41410 күн бұрын
He was one of the least accurate QBs ever on passes over 10yrds. Hope he makes massive improvement in that area. That way we don't have to rely on 20 screens a game and keep defenses honest. If he figures that out then sky's the limit
@JESUSIS70RD10 күн бұрын
@@hjayc414 Just be patient a lot of his opportunities came when he didn’t have competence both from his offensive staff & from his o line protection The narratives will change and people will act like they saw it coming they did it when they said Josh Allen wasn’t accurate for example, but praise Mahomes for talent yet the reason these QBs are any good are bc a lot of stuff has been coached out of them and they had to learn to submit to the pocket passing game, take the proper read instead of the big play. Just watch his mechanics (Caleb) when he has real protection, you’ll see 2 hands on the ball stepping up eyes down field, quick processing & getting the ball out on time with velocity… that’s what you want! Even some very few but some of the plays that went erratic on him, he still showed the willingness to want to stay in the pocket as long as he could until he had to run The only thing to maybe be concerned about with Caleb is his natural leadership… he’s got an introvert feel to him but this coach is known for it too. They both still are killers competitively that can’t go unnoticed.

As a Bears fan, I just get the feeling this isn't gonna work. Ben's track record speaks for itself, but the Bears have been a cursed franchise lately especially when it comes to offense. Unless they bolster the O line, and Caleb's accuracy vastly improves, I see nothing but disappointment. Feels like Kingsbury where he's a great offensive coordinator but isn't head coach material. I don't know, it's hard being optimistic when you're a Bears fan.
