The Lions were down 35-14 with 16 minutes left in that game before the Bills switched to a prevent D and also lost several secondary players late after starting the game missing 3 starters in the secondary. The Bills never had a win probability of less than 87% with 28 minutes left in the game. The Bills can't control who is on the schedule, but let's stop pretending that they aren't competitive. "2-3 against playoff teams" is such a weak argument. They lost to a desperate Rams team that every one in the NFC hopes to avoid in the playoffs by 2 points. They lost to Houston on a 57-yard FG and the Ravens wrecked them - both when the Bills lost several defensive starters and had yet to develop any cohesion. They had a top 10 defense in points allowed before the last 2 games and now it's an issue because two great offenses played great? They've given up 30 points or more to exactly 3 teams.
