Colin fascinates me. He is loath to say anything nice about Brock Purdy. For some reason, last year at this time he was saying that his sources told him that Jordan Love was nothing special - and for about half the season he was mediocre at best. Then, he has a great 2nd half of the season and all of a sudden he’s in the top 10 list and is an ascending star. During that same time period, Brock had better numbers, actually beat him head to head in the playoffs and took his team to a SB and for a good portion of it had better numbers than Mahomes. But, for some reason, Colin won’t even acknowledge any of that. It’s almost comical. I guess if Brock and the 49ers win the SB and Brock is in the running for MVP (again!), then maybe, just maybe, he’ll be talked about being on par with Jordan Love or even the amazing Trevor Lawrence (who somehow won a playoff game after throwing 3 INT’s!).
