If Jacksonville want to know whether Trevor Lawrence was/is a worthy investment, they should be all over Mike McCarthy

The Eagles went up 2 scores right off the bat. Then they ran the most vanilla offense possible. As soon as Green Bay got within a score, they went right down the field and made it a 2 score game again. I just think they were comfortable and didn’t want to do anything too creative because they didn’t want to put it on tape before they needed to. They’ll be much better offensively next week. Unless they don’t need to be.

The question, which has largely been ignored, is the difference between rust - physical inactivity - and a mental fog - a cognitive issue related to a brain injury, however minor. I know the latter exists because I was on a team that studied it for 15 years. Doctors at the time called it confusion. We were trying to find out whether there was a pattern to the "confusion." Specific deficits related to the kind of injury that correlate with certain types of performance. What makes the diagnosis so difficult is that the trauma is so diffuse and that typically the brain can recover much of its preinjury function. But often not everything. Only Hurts knows what it really feels like. And he's not telling.

The Cowboys did NOT want to sign him, that's all. Jerry is clever, this is the modest way to say you are fired. If you have been following football you would know for sure it is the Cowboys that did NOT want him back and this was verified by a real news breaker, Adam Schefter. Just check his interview on epsn.

Jerry Jones just has no clue what he's even trying to do or how to do it waited until the last second to pay Dak and it cost him millions, waited until the last second to pay CeeDee and it cost him millions, sat around doing nothing while every other team was deep into their HC searches, then at the last possible second when candidates have already been interviewed elsewhere (and Vrabel hired already), _now_ he finally decides to move on? 🙄
