I don't think many folks had Sam Darnold as an All Pro caliber QB this season on their bingo cards. Very happy for him and the Vikes fans. Add in Andy Dalton's performance Sunday, and veteran "also ran" QBs are doing great so far this season.

Been saying it for years now since really following the team again. Shanahan gets to much credit and praise. He's certainly a good and top 3rd of coaches, but if anyone benefits from all the talent it's him. There are some clear deficiencies in his scheme, play calling, and roster construction.

The 49ers roster has been way overrated by the media these last two years. The defense is bad. The pass blocking is bad. Guys are always banged up and now WRs are dropping passes. People are finally starting to see it, how good of a QB Purdy really is.

Wilson wasn't the reason they didn't win that 2nd Super Bowl, it was a great defensive stop by Malcolm Butler that was the reason. And by 2015, the LoB had lost its luster, mainly because the league remembered PI and illegal contact were penalties that needed to be enforced so Matt being there wouldn't have had any effect on that.

How did the ref take a win away, I mean I would assume you are talking about missed PI call with 4 minutes left in the Chiefs Atlanta game. Where there is no guarantee they score and if they do there is still at least 2 minutes in the game, for the chiefs to have a chance to score. Nothing is guaranteed come on, and on top of all that Atlanta had another chance with like 35 yards worth of penalty yards against the chiefs on the final drive, that is why it’s not talked about😅

Purdy will only become great or elite with time, he's not the most physically gifted, he's got some super high football IQ (yet), and he's not gonna put a team on his back (again yet). He's got some great intangibles, work ethic, coachability, decision making, leadership, and so on, those are gonna get him far with the right coach but he won't shake the Mr. Irrelevant title until he's winning ships at 30 or maybe older.

Chiefs were called for 6 penalties, and 4 of them were imaginary: 1. Jones called for Roughing the Passer when he didn't 2. Reid called for offsides when there was a WR behind him and the ball wasn't snapped 3. McDuffie called for PI when the WR ran right I to him as he was standing still 4.
