As a Scot, do you think a diaspora Scot would have better potential than A.I. for spikkin Scots? I know voice to text/transcript is terrible. Curious to hear your thoughts, thanks.

Good question - I've found transcription getting a lot better for non-US and non-"queens english" accents over the past year. I don't have a strong accent and it was still always pretty hit and miss, but in the past 12 months, my transcripts have mostly been 99% accurate. The accent is still obviously tricky for the AI voice generators, though! I used one generator to clone my own voice, just to see how good it was, and I came out sounding like me, but doing an english accent - was very weird 😆 So yea, I think any real Scottish person - diaspora or not - is still much better placed to do the accent!
