It could have been one of the most iconic collaborations in pop history, but it ended in the worst way. Freddie Mercury and Michael Jackson became friends during Queen's tour across the United States, and they eventually planned on recording a few songs together. Everything was going smoothly, but when Freddie arrived at the studio, Michael's eccentric attitude made him very uncomfortable and he decided to leave without finishing the song. Years later, he would regret his decision, but it was already too late.
