Just looked it up... masterboards are collages used to cut into tags etc. Collages are kept whole

I've just finished making tags from a 12x12 masterboard, stitched and now will emboss a few. Great Idea. I've made masterboard previously with gaps between papers so it looks like tiles. This is very effective and different. I saw this on Gail Agostinelli's chanel.

I think of a collage as being something you could use as a stand alone and it becomes a masterboard when you intend to cut it up into smaller items. Idk. I'm new to this

Those turned out great! Love the embossing! I’ve made what I’ve always called collage sheets for a few years now lately people are calling them masterboards....I think they’re the same thing with a newer name! That’s just my opinion, lol! 🦋

When I used to work at a printshop, we would make a “master board” (which was actually some sort of metal, it’s been many years). We would use that to print each copy from the “master board”. So I think they call them master boards now because you can scan them, and print out multiple times and cut into tags one time, and then cut into journaling cards the next. So you can use the same collage multiple times in a variety of ways.

Just mist your table lightly then put the suction cup of the Cuttlebug right over and open your panels. Works like a charm.

I love how the tags look when they are embossed. When I have made master boards or collages and didn’t particularly like the results, once I cut them up they look pretty good as card fronts. Then you can do some additional mark making with poscas, etc.
