I will be playing along, can't wait to get started. Ceri's challenge has me motivated, got so many gel prints to use. You two lovely ladies have been such a wonderful source of knowledge, my prints have improved so much over the last couple of years. Have learnt a truckload from Ceri also. Especially love how he prints several papers at the same time, drying each paper on the floor while layering and creating depth on the next one, a method that I've used myself since seeing him do this. This is going to be fun! Thanks for all the inspiration and the numbers! I'm going to combine this with junk journal July and make a book structure to hold my postcards. I'll have more direction for decorating with the daily prompts from junk journal July. I want to do both but don't have time, so will combine the two into one mega project. 😊

My July is swamped but I really want to do this so going to see how many videos I can do on weekends and schedule them instead of doing lives this month. who knows I may even do some from my phone while I wont be at home. Im going to truly try. it seems so relaxing and I love doing post cards to include in my happy mails

Hey Mariah! Is there a way to make downloads in "coloring book" style or do I need to try that when I go to print it? I don't have a color printer so I end up coloring myself but if the original color is very dark, it's hard to get an actual color. The postcard thing sounds cool. I'm excited to see the videos. I make no promises about posting!! It sounds ike fun but I've never made postcards before. I'll most likey take the collage prompts and the color combo for July and make postcards since I finished all the pages in my first signature of my "art" journal. Have you tried turning your glue upside down on the next card rather than having it lying on it'ss side? It might burp out too much glue but at least it's on the card! You can use your scraper to smooth out and put the extra back or if you'r really organized, start the next crd, already. Or does it dry too fast for all that? Love your videos. You worry about it being boring but it is always fascinating to watch a pro at work. If you pay attention you can pick up lots of technique "tips and tricks", It just takes close observation. And if you don't know where to start, you can see those tips as well! TFS. You and P are aweome. 💖💖💖

Ohhh I hadn't thought about turning the color prints into black and white! Not all of them would probably work but I think some would and would be pretty cool. Let me see what I can do about that. Are you mainly wanting the gel print set or which ones are you wanting? You are so sweet and can't tell you how much that means to me. @@PMartistStudio I was talking mostly about the numbers! I wouldn't do that with the gel prints. There is no way anything could equal the gel prints in B&W, I don't think!! The gel prints are really all color so I don't think black and white would do anything but turn them shades of gray and that would be criminal!! I'm looking at print shops in my town to see if they would do printing from downloads and how that might compare costwise to buying the prints themselves. (And saving my pennies, until I figure which I can afford!) In some places, it is only downloads and that is where I run into trouble. I know Darcy has adorable digital printables, and a couple other places, like 49Dragonflies and Luise Heinzel, that are in color and I want the color so checking out how I can manage it. Thanks. I'm an old retired nurse who is looking for things to occupy my time. Housecleaning (what I can still manage) only takes so much time and I get bored easily!! The last 30 years of my nursing career was a 24/7 job with summers off (and a few weekends during the school year but for many of those I worked hospital OB/L&D so when I retired it was quite a shock to have free time. Finding your channel and your awesome community has definitely been a blessing in disguise to keep me "sane"! And it's so fun. Thank you and all your crew. (Can you tell - I'm old and like to talk?) 😊🥰❤❤🤟(I worked those last 30 years at a residential school for the Deaf - that last sign is from that.)

Hi P & M, did you just use PVA white glue to stick to gel prints to the postcards, should I then seal them or wait until they are done?

I used PVA and P used the Amsterdam heavy matte medium. Both worked well and no need to seal unless there are soluble mediums along with the acrylic paints you used and doesn’t want moving 💖

Do you have a powder tool? I use it with stickers when I want to use pop dots.
