Beautiful outcome! I think it looks worth the trouble you had stitching through that paper. Very inspiring to me and I’m going to try this 😊

I love these so much. When you brought out the background papers they reminded me of standing stones in England and Brittany. The first one had stars behind the standing stone. On the second one, there was a triangle of 3 dots, which I would have enhanced, but you covered one and embellished with French knots, which looked fantastic. It's quite nice that the sacred 3 is hidden. The third one reminded me of a painting I did called "The woman in the tree. A story had come to mind about a woman who hid from her lover in the hollow of the tree. She waited for him to prove his love and came to find her. He never did for on his way he fell in love with another. So she starved to death as we sometimes figuratively do over unrequited love. I later discovered there is a Maori myth which is similar to the story that arose from the depths of my collective unconscious. Your final piece evoked a symbol of a doorway to the stars. A lode star. I know these are abstract but my mind works in stories and myths. The outcome of all the pieces together is very totemic to me. I love it.❤

Oh how I love your interpretations and your stories. I never in a million years could have come up with those words about my own work. I can much better do that when I see others works. Quite interesting. Thanks for taking time to write to me.

@lisbethdegn-dragenkunst thank you too for replying. Sometimes you can't see your work until some time passes and you think'gosh did I do that? It's really good ". I love your rings. I went to my jewelery box and rediscovered my big rings today and put a silver and carnelian one on that I bought in Bali.

Fascinating! I love how you blend all of the mediums so creatively. My favorite in this series so far is the one finished at 23:26 min. And I had to laugh that you heard my “mental scream” in the next one to keep the first piece you selected. Your work always inspires me!

Thank you and it’s ok to scream, because I will not always take the same decisions as all of you would

Fabulous. I have been collaging and watching at the same time. What fun ❤ I only ever eco-dye using cold liquid. I don’t have facility to steam or ‘cook’. But for me cold works just as well. It may take a bit longer but it’s always worth the wait 😃
@lisbethdegn-dragenkunstАй бұрын
Thank you. I also just have done some dying with leftovers in my pot. Leaving the fabric for 2-3 days. And letting it nearly dry before I unbundled the package. And that worked fine too.
