Collage with botanical theme No 29

This is the 29 collage in a series with a botanical theme. I will be using different techniques such as gelli printing and stitching. All papers are my own prints. How many I will make, I don’t know yet.
This is one way of doing botanical prints on a gelli plate. The big brown blob in the middle, is a piece of roofing felt I found on the road, when I was on a residency in Iceland couple of years ago. I have kept it in a bag with other smaller objects I found there, seashells, seed pods and other non valuable things, but valuable to me.

You have made quite a wonderful collection of botanicals. So inspiring! I totally understand your bag of valuables from Iceland. I was in France last fall and returned with leaves, feathers, seed pods etc. such treasures!

Dont take it as a 100 % rule. A good print depends on the paint, how much, what kind of paper and the climate your living in.
