Thank you for the video. This looks awesome. We live close to Montana. Where exactly did you camp in the national forest? I would love to check it out next summer.

Hey Mathew! We camped at the Lake Creek campground in the Kootenai National Forest outside of Libby. It was lovely with no one else there. It’s a pack in/pack out place with just a few spots and dispersed areas too. Great location to access a bunch of trails too. Here are the directions from the forest service. ;) From Libby follow Hwy 2 south to milepost 56.7 and take a right onto Libby Creek road 231. Follow road 231 for 6.4 miles to the junction with Bramlet Creek road 2332, take a right. Follow road 2332 for 0.72 miles to the Lake Creek Campground junction. Campground is accessible by car but a high clearance vehicle is recommended on most forest roads.

The company that makes these is in the town I live (Original Nomad). They do a bunch of other work besides making the tubs and heating coils. When I bought mine 4 years ago they were really bad at replying to emails. But I picked up my tub and we love it when we use it, but we don's use it as often as I thought. It takes a lot of water and propane get it hot and sometimes that feels wasteful.

Thanks for your comments Kevin on the hot tub! It’s always good to hear from someone else’s experience :)

Hello! This is where we camp in the Kootenai National Forest :) The Lake Creek Campground is located approximately 32 miles southwest of Libby off the West Fisher road. The campground has 4 sites all with tent pads, tables and fire rings and able to accommodate up to a 32' rv. There are also 4 dispersed campsites. Campground roads and parking spurs are gravel or native material. Amenities include potable water and vault toilets. Directions: From Libby follow Hwy 2 south to milepost 56.7 and take a right onto Libby Creek road 231. Follow road 231 for 6.4 miles to the junction with Bramlet Creek road 2332, take a right. Follow road 2332 for 0.72 miles to the Lake Creek Campground junction. Campground is accessible by car but a high clearance vehicle is recommended on most forest roads. Dump facilites, showers, laundry, gas, ice and store are located in Libby. All of this info is from the USDA Forest Service website. I believe the sites are first come first served unless it has changed over the years. Happy camping this summer! :)

Hey! So this video says it was posted 1 month ago... When did you purchase this item and how long did it take to receive? I have seen terrible reviews stating purchase but no product received and I can't find any posts or reviews past 2019 beside your video! Thanks

Hi Ashley! Our hot tub was purchased almost 8 years ago now … so that has been our only experience which was seemless at the time. I feel terrible that folks aren’t getting their purchased product now. :(

I have also hesitated to buy this because of the online complaints. It's a shame, because it seems like an awesome setup. Hope your family enjoys it for years to come.

Check out salty barrel, they have something very similar. I also saw the reviews from people that never received the original nomad. I ordered one from salty barrel and it came in 5 days from Australia which is pretty crazy. Tried it for the first time last weekend and it works great. We filled it with buckets, one of those water pumps would be awesome!

This is before they started making cheap crap they make now. The burner is completely different and terrible.
@OuterEdgeOutpost Жыл бұрын
Can you explain what's bad about the burner? I wanted to use this as a bathing solution for my off grid cabin and I don't want to have to keep a wood fire going for 3 hours every time I take a bath, so propane is essential.
