First 4 years of his life then died came back a year later Gohan went to namek while Goku was recovering in the hospital. Stays on yardrat for a year to learn an important and handy technique comes back spends 3 years with Gohan for the androids and another 1 year in the hyperbolic time chamber and dies protecting him. Gohan was 11 at the end of the cell saga so that means Goku was around for 9 of the 11 years of his life by that point

But if you watch how frustrated Vegeta was getting, Dabura caught Gohan lacking multiple times each round *because* of how much his battle instincts dulled , at one point Goku offered to take Gohan's place because of how poor his performance was. So no they're definetly not equal. Dabura was not struggling at all And again the only reason cell injured gohan at all was because of Vegeta's crash out on trunks dying.

Goku was there for atleast 10 or so years with Gohan before he sacrificed himself against Cell. But he definitely missed Goten's first 7 years before finally coming back to life during Buu.

Honestly, I will never understand people calling Goku a bad dad when they ignore the entirety of Gohan Childhood pre Z. Literally when Z start is when shit goes sideways because everyday there is a new problem. While also ignoring that Goku isnt part human and neither he or Vegeta are capable of connecting with their kids besides fighting and becoming stronger (Which ironically on Super Manga we even see that they bond over that aswel). And also besides the fat fact that most of the time Goku sacrifices himself for others or think whats best for them to avoid more conflict. A really good example is back when he was hospitalized post Saiyan saga and Gohan for the first time speaks up to his mom and tells her to shut up and that he wants to go to namek, and that he must go to it, and when Chichi tells Goku to talk him out of it he instead believes on what Gohan is and claims that he became strong and is proud of him

Gokus a bad dad / husband in the sense that he rather leave his family to go train. He doesn't care at all to be with them. those are the bad aspects. But he's good in the sense he's a good person and will protect them and die for them

But is he a bad father when he is genetically pre-disposed to not be around his kids, besides the whole "He is a Saiyan, not a human" bit where he literally can't understand normal human behaviour (yet was still around and still trained just how he is nowadays), we do literally see that in Saiyan society once the child is good to go in missions they just drop them on a planet and let it rip, and they later come home to eat and sleep (also something Goku does). But would how the entire species act be a reason to call it a bad father ? Are Lioness, which are mostly used to refer to strong mothers, bad mothers because they will abandon their cubs if they instinctively feel its not worth it ? I think the issue is trying to make Goku a father to normal standarts when neither he or his children are pure humans, even with Gohan Super Hero he isnt exactly different from his father either, and his End of Z counterpart also just drops Pan at Goku's house and he takes care of her because she *wants* to train, and they stay there for days going who-knows-where. So its odd to say he is a bad father because he isnt present, when he just mostly goes away from time to time yet ultimately comes back. Only case this doesnt happen is after Namek Explodes, which there isnt really any canon explanation why he didnt want to come back instantly except that maybe he wanted to do so by himself ig, all the other times he was dead, literally, or Gohan himself was out of the planet. Nowadays Goku works, sells the goods, gives Chichi money and *she* gives him permission to go train with Whis, which he still comes back

At best we have him wanting to be there for Bulla's birthday (albeit a bit stupid considering both she and Bulma were going to die if he stayed put). But thats my entire point, Pure Blooded Saiyans just arent human, remember that he only cared about kid trunks when they were training, and he took pride on asking if he was stronger than Goten. At age 4 they already are sent to random planets to conquer and stay away from their own relatives, it really is just some animal group behaviour that makes them be the way they are. In turn, the human nature flips it up on a 180, they bond over other things besides fighting, like Gohan being genuinely happy to talk to Piccolo about his research on Sayi-ants

You guys have to remember that buu was the universal threat. Everyone knew buu was the strongest even in the demon realm. Goku scales to buu so of course everything seems weak to goku. also the dabura challenged the tamagami before the Majin boost from babadi and he was still weaker than ssj2 so id assume the tamagami to be around ssj2-ssj3 which will be a challenge for chibi goku if ssj1 is a challenge to maintain rn

Something to keep in mind when it comes to this show is that it was meant to be a web series first and then got turned into something bigger which more then likely brought some story issues and more then likely padding stuff out for time also the original name for the show was Dragon Ball Magic which I imagine means the idea's and inner workings of magic in the Dragon World will hopefully be talked about at least to some degree

They will probably meet up before heading to the 2nd demno world and will most likely speed run to the 1st demon world. UMMMM is Luppa forgetting Dabura was handling SSJ Gohan? Granted Gohan was not training so he wasn't peak condition, but he was still at the level where he could box with Android 17/ Semi-perfect Cell. And now Goku and co suffered arond 40% defbuff with this kid stuff. Considering the Tamagami washed Dabura .... Yeah we might have a bit of an issue here. By my rough calculation Goku is gonna have a tough fight. In kid form only SSJ2 might grant him a dub, maybe SS3 which he deffinetly cannot acces now.

Dabura was Perfect Cell Level. And Goku is weakened here and barely can go into Super Saiyan. Also Tamagami defeated Dabura we know that, but how easily ? We don't. He may have just one shotted Dabura.
