This channel has been a hidden gem for awhile. In gi and nogi, incredible technique delivered by a great teacher. The little details to hip alignment in conjunction with opponent's ideal counter is valuable, and really speaks to the quality of instruction from Giles. Thanks so much!

Very nice, thanks for sharing. I like it when you also add information about the possible counters, such as sitting back in this case. It helps to see and and know how your partner will react, but also what you should be doing if you are caught on the other end.

Awesome instruction! My coach uses this technique all the time. It's good to know how he sets it up and a possible counter to it.

Right foot should be on the shoulder not the bicep. If it’s on the bicep he can just circle his arm around your foot and now you have nothing.

And then you circle your foot back in 😂 your foot on the shoulder doesn’t solve that issue. It doesn’t matter if the foot is on the bicep or shoulder. Either option works and either option has the same issue of your opponent circling the arm back in
@ATLFUNKCARTEL6 ай бұрын
@@mt2722 it is significantly harder to pummel your arm inside if the foot is on the shoulder.
