Love the description, the doll and the video. I think I'm going to purchase the first version, but you missed a very big detail. She has huge muscles. Not big deal, and I like them too. I think it is too bad for the doll not to have those other movement joints on her arms. However she's so pretty. Like!

I know, I have been told by other viewers as well, of all the things I forgot to mention, lol. Yes, I really like the Batman vs Superman version, I just wished she looks more muscular, at least on the arms, just like the new version.

I told him I much rather have an addiction to Plastic that I can touch, pose and marvel at it's awesomeness​ than to alcohol or drugs. Your channel is the one I look forward to daily the most. I don't really pay that much attention to negative comments from other people. As long as you are not causing any harm to yourself, nor to anybody, then it is perfectly alright to enjoy your favorite hobby. I never question them why they like certain stuff, so I don't think it is appropriate to say awful stuff to what they like either. To each their own. Thanks again, sometimes I get into those moments that I felt like nobody cares what I post, lol. I just have to keep reminding myself that I do this because I love doing reviews, and to help other collectors like me that wanted to know more details prior to making their purchases. You are definitely right, better this than alcohol or drugs. =)

Thank you! That is one thing I failed to mention in here, about the new doll being more muscular than the first release, which I actually like since it looks more realistic that way. However, Mattel sacrificed the flexibility of the shoulder joint because of it, which I did not like since she cannot move her arm across her body to use the shield. I'm glad I was able to help you out. =)

Ahh the articulation makes it hard to decide! I like the re-issue version only because she looks a lot more muscular/built. Otherwise the arm swivel makes for a much larger range of motion!

Thanks! Yes, both the versions have the black elastics. So just be careful when handling it. Don't worry, It is not going to snap pretty soon, it will probably take too much repetitive aggressive force to do so.

Thanks! It took time to make this video, and there are still things I have missed saying like the new doll is more muscular compared to the first one. I don't blame you, the first doll is really beautiful anyway and purchasing this second one is really not that necessary if you already have her earlier version.

Is it just me or the wonder woman movie ver has glossy lips while the batman vs superman doesn't n wonder woman ver has more faded eyebrowns than batman vs superman?

I had to stare at the two dolls since you mentioned it. You're right! The BvS version has a matte lipstick while the new one has some gloss on its lips. The eyebrows were lined that way to provide more definition. Like when you do your eyebrow, you make it lighter closer to the inner area of your eyes and as you go towards the tail, you make the eyebrow darker when lining it, but I think if there is any difference with the eyebrow application, it is very subtle. Amazing observation! =)

I can tell! Lol. I don't recall how much the Batman vs Superman version was, since I bought her later when she came out. The price range shouldn't be that far from each other. The new version is being sold at around $44 if I am not mistaken.

That is so dumb - a dragon hilt and what appears to be a runic blade for an ancient Greek princess? Ugh. Thank you for a detailed video! I'm thinking about buying this doll to show doll clothes that I make. Do I understand correctly that the older version is less muscly and basically a standard made-to-move body in terms of measurements? Also, you mentioned that the bodice is non-removable (why, WHY would they do such a thing?!) - do you think there's any chance it could be plied off? I agree, I did not understand either why they used a dragon design for her sword. Yes, you are right, the older version has less muscle bulk but has more range of movements. That is true, the bodice is non-removable unless you forcefully remove it using tools, which I would guess will ruin the doll itself. Is it cheaper being less than $100? I have no idea about the exchange rate, but I guess with shipping and taxes, $100 might be cheaper for you there. I just wish it is much less than that so it will be more affordable for other collectors outside of US.

It's actually about 100% more expensive :[ Somebody on a Russian website wrote that the bodice is technically removable, but wouldn't be fit to put back one if removed, which I don't mind anyway. I guess I'm gonna have to give it a go. Thank you for the reply! Your review helped me make up my mind!
