I passed my Class 1 course on Friday last week on the first time of trying with no prior experience in lorry’s. You have been a massive influence on me to join the HGV industry Tim. good luck. passed in December myself. now am driving for a few weeks now full time. just look high and low, including agency (if your in a position to put up with agency.. i wasn't). just don't talk yourself into too much compromise with what works for you, there is some CRAPPY work out there that will happily crush the soul of someone desperate for a ride.

Hi tim, I loved watching this video. I didn't think it was a new video so late watching it, but the crouch truck was a nice surprise. Did have an interview on Wednesday at dpd as a truck mechanic apprentice. It was great talking to one of the guys about scanias and he mentioned you when I said about v8s which was great. No scanias or v8s there sadly but loved spending the day in a place full of trucks. Also bet that crouch t cab would look good with a wrecker body on the back

With the new dashboard being a screen, Scania should add a setting to change the "skin" of the dials, like put a digital version of older Scania series dials in there to use if you like, like the big speedo 4-series dash. I get to have my driving lessons in a good old 4-series Scania 164

Don’t mind trains. Is the other people on them that’s issue! My main problem are level crossings!! Hate them! I crawl up to them then nail it across!! Always have visions of a train coming!! I must keep an eye out next time my car is in at Volvo Warrington. See what Guy picks you up in next time! Although the Crouch Bull Nose will take some beating!

I'm not a fan of touch screen but Ik it's the future. But car companies could learn something from Scania, with an angled, large screen. And the "buttons"/icons are nice and large and simple.

that idian head looks like the ones that buses used to have back in the 1960,s. They were a single bus not a double decker. Channel 19 is where you get other breakers, once you get someone to talk to you move to another channel so other people can use channel 19 for a call out
