I save my bacon grease to use while cooking. I've always wished to have some fresh lard for making pie crust, so thanks for this video. Can't wait to try it. I just made some homemade pumpkin pie yesterday and last month made homemade strawberry pies. Mmmmmm, I bet they would have been even more delish with this! :-)

You mentioned #5 plastic bowls. How do you know if you have a #5? So I guess they are freezer safe? Excellent tips for freezer storing the perfect amount for pies. Thank you so much for all you do.
