Well done Nathan so glad to see you get your point across about putting the rocks back.
@steventodd56782 жыл бұрын
If you put a small rock under when you turn it back right side up . Then the crabs have a space and you have a space for fingers to flip . We used the same rocks in Cali when we hunted abalone.

Yeah brilliant idea, making crab homes

@@fatfishchaser3803 We find a good flat rock with abs under it we flip it back and hit it again in a week or so you figure out how long it takes but you know the spot .

Everything is right about video. Educational, caring and enjoyment of nature, taking what you need and not abusing, or killing precious living things. Thank you sir. Raymondo.

Thanks for this video Nathan. If you don't put the rocks back you destroy the crabs enviroment, Ie no more crabs. Some people don't understand.

Great video mate and I know that’s hard work
@fatfishchaser38032 жыл бұрын
Hours work I only got 15 peelers, 70-80p a crab isn’t expensive when you put it like that!
@colinperkins18562 жыл бұрын
You recommend hardbacks for hounds?
@fatfishchaser38032 жыл бұрын
Yes mate 100% but you can’t beat a peeler
@Davhamish7202 жыл бұрын
Do you rate hard back crabs for hounds on the boat? I don't seem to have much luck with them in Felixstowe area
@fatfishchaser38032 жыл бұрын
Yes mate all the bigger fish seem to fall to hard backs

I find the "Tinnies" are good for hounds.
@fatfishchaser38032 жыл бұрын
They don’t seem to keep aswell as a hard back. Good bait tho if your using them straight away

Nice one Nath, get the lad some gloves though I still have a couple of scars from when I was his age and found broken glass instead of a peeler. Got a bit x rated when you found that last pair.

The big crab is making sure the wee one is safe and no other crab will eat it 😂

Let’s hope a few learn..very disappointing when people don’t leave the beach as you find it..

You're right, it's not hard. We want crabs every year FFS. And the fact it's probably other anglers doing it is mental.

Same every year mate, peelers have been hard work this season
