That is crazy how the #34 all star weekend gold is at the top like that. I remember when they was passing them out in 93 all star weekend here and was mad i missed out on a box.that would be cool to see someone opening up a box of them.all i see is the silver ones

I’m a fellow Shaq collector also but I buy his Lakers stuff for the most part🖖🏼

I only buy his Laker cards and Magic cards. His Heat cards just do not connect with me.

Good analysis… I collect Shaq rookies a bit, but I feel differently on the high pop one’s. Fleer is my favorite, but the Upper Deck is the Iconic rookie, similar to say a Ken Griffey UD rookie. While high pop counts, still feel their value is under rated. I prefer the pack pulled, over the McDonald’s or drakes, team set type one’s. I think one day, demand for Shaq will double over night, and folks will have missed out. I’ve got most of the pack pulled rookies in Psa 9/10. I’ve started going after his flashly inserts graded, like scoring kings (94) and other foil/condition sensitive one’s.

Fully agree that demand for his rookie cards could easily double in a given year. Foil cards that are hard to grade I think are underrated for him as well. Scoring Kings 94 is a beautiful card. I think MJ not begin in the set hurts. Meltdown, Scoring Magnets and Rising Stars are on my list plus Power in the Key from 93.

@@jessmansportscards that’s a good point about MJ not being in the set. I like those other insert sets as well. They are hard to find even in a 8 or 9. Doesn’t seem like many copies worth grading exist. Over time, I think the hard to grade 90’s cards will do really well, while 2019 and newer will go down based on volume. With the exception of a couple players. People will steer away from 10’s in favor of rarity.

This is a dangerous video. So I’m guessing you consider ALL cards produced in 92-93 are “rookie cards”? And are you basing this all on value/money?

Why is it a dangerous video? Yes - my consideration is that all cards produced in 92 are good rookie cards. Collect what you like - the video is just to inform and discuss all of 92 cards.

@@jessmansportscards exactly the point Jess. If it’s collect what you like then why would you say, “don’t bother collecting the cards in red”? You said it twice. Also, acknowledge the fact that there are long time Hobby standards that many collectors still abide by. Not all rookie cards are created equal.

@@true_rcs Fair enough. The video are some of my opinions which might not lineup too everyone's opinion. I still stand behind the statement that I personally would not collect or recommend to others to collect the cards in red but do as you please. There are long standing hobby rules that should be discussed and not all hold up. Thanks for your thoughts and watching.
