The IONIQ 5N is the only electric vehicle that can run on the track without stopping. Tesla, Porsche, Audi, and BMW will rather analyze the IONIQ 5N. And what's even more surprising is that Hyundai hasn't even brought out a real weapon yet. The eM platform, the successor to the E-GMP platform, is scheduled to appear. There will be many more great techniques, so you can look forward to it.

Chris is a fantastic no-nonsense presenter and having just finished his audiobook, a really interesting bloke who would be great to chat to over a beer about all things cars for sure 👍
EVs like this completely debunk the argument that EVs are all about saving the environment.

@@bourbonslurpee My point is that EVs aren't boring for the last 10 years. There are lots of arguments against EVs but not that they are boring.

The Ioniq 5N is the best EV out there and will likely be overtaken by the Ioniq 6N or the Genesis EV supercar.

I have been a fan of Chris since his DRIVE NETWORK days. I have watched every single one of his videos, from there, from CHOC, and most of the newer Top Gear Epiisodes. Unfortunately I am regularly underwhelmed with the "Collecting cars" videos fitting Chris. They seem too short, too rushed, not enough information, key parts of this car for example are not covered entirely, which are *major* parts of the vehicle and available in all press releases and marketing bumf. Even if it was only a minor mention, but nothing. There's no "pit lane talk" with some obscure member of the engineering team, no car on a ramp with Harris walking underneath it with the geeky technical lead discussing Castor angle and showing some cleverly engineered Multi link setup... This entire video felt rushed , lazy and half hearted like many of the Chris Harris videos lately on the channel. I appreciate he has a lot of other interests and hobbies, and time/money are not endless, but I cannot help feeling that since the ending of Top Gear we could have taken this rare opportunity to go back to a true format of car review - Chris, Neil (maybe a few other camera crew), a good few hours of driving on a variety of roads, maybe back to back with a claimed rival, and some geeky car talk. There is more than enough money in the CC budget to do this, given the majority of the cost is simply having the crews there to begin. This literally feels like a short filter segment for Top Gear, and a lower quality one at that. I'm sorry, Ithe mark has been utterly missed in my eyes. I hope future episodes live up to the previous excellence. Compare this to any Harris content from say 2016 and it's a complete night and day difference

Have I seen you in a green GT3 RS going back to the UK at LeShuttle last Sunday? I was confused. Or you have a good look a like 😊

This sounds a bit like ripping the standard ioniq 5 a new hole, a bit unfairly, that thing can come with up to 325hp and 605nm in awd and do 60 in under 5 secs… it’s a great car. I don’t see why it’s such a surprise they took it a step further and made it trackable 😂

I know it’s a world away but my old Kia Optima PHEV actually runs its electric motor directly through the gearbox, physically changing gears. Is it the same with this bad boy Chris?

This impressive car has the added benefit of tackling the loneliness epidemic, as each buyer makes a new friend with their local tyre fitter.

Much prefer a used C63 V8 to this; sound is sound and without it the most important part of the car's soul is lost. The fact that it is slower doesn't matter. In everyday Monday to Friday driving, it what makes a mundane drive into something better. I own a GL 63 AMG and prior to that had all sort of 4 cylinders and 6 cylinder vehicles; the GL 63 is the biggest, the heaviest, one of the hardest and most awkward to handle but no vehicle I have ever owned have given me a smile like this one during the work or family commute. An E39 523i I6 is almost there but not quite. Maybe the only one that could compare was the BMW M3 V8 with its screaming red line that I drove on a track driving course.

The only person who's suggest to someone else that they go and look at a Hyundai as a worthy alternative to a BMW or Audi, is someone who doesn't have to make that choice or is someone that owns multiple cars. But for most fans of German machinery, the idea of buying Korean, Japanese or other, just isn't on their radar.

I think this has been shot quite a long time ago and it may not have been a production model. Maybe the gear changes were not working back then? Also the active sound? It seems like not even the screen is working, but that might be a polarising filter. The shots of the screen are from a B-roll. I think Harris has triven the Ioniq 5 N long before any other journo.
