These guys saved my life when my lung collapsed, I was about half asleep when they arrived and I was rushed to RPA under sirens from Five Dock. I recently got home and wanted to hear them for some reason. Making me hella emotional. (mine were not specialist units just for clarity)

0:22 That’s an unusually higher pitched tone compared to the other GD vehicles’ sirens. From what I know this is an Impart SP siren and the tones can be customised, but they are almost never set that high on Ambulances.

That first one is hot as. What does "Specialist Paramedic" mean in NSW please?

They are extended care paramedics who can diagnose, treat and manage non-life threatening injuries and illnesses without having to go into hospital.
