Collections Management Fund (CMF) 10th Anniversary Video

In 2023, Museums Alaska celebrated 10 years of the Collections Management Fund grant program. With the support of Rasmuson Foundation, we have been able to fund projects at museums and cultural centers to improve collections management practices - like hiring a conservator or other specialized collections contractor, digitizing collections, installing UV film for windows, purchasing new exhibit cases and collections storage units, and other collections management improvements.
Thank you to the Rasmuson Foundation for supporting such an important grant program for our field and allowing us to manage it for over 10 years.
And thank you to all the museums who participated in the video interviews and provided images. We really appreciate it!
