We who are now grown up and carefully biding our time and saving our pennies waiting for their early 21st century Japanese neoclassics to become of legal age - please, please make a deepdive video/video series on importation process and commonly overlooked pitfalls! Big fan and sending you big channel growth energy! I sincerely hope that the ability to import some of the great but underloved ‘00s JDM cars such as the Altezza for example will bring some new life into what seems to be a market growing out of control around a shrinking pool of survivor cars.

Careful on the waiting. Damn things are going up even in Japan. Bought my car for 18 and they're going for 23-28 now. Buddy of mine bought a S15 for 21 last year. Another's GTR was 45K, and a couple bought automatic Supras for 30k.

YOUR BUILD DOESNT NEED TO BE 1000HP, IT DOESNT NEED A BIG WING OR WIDEBODY KIT. It needs oem+ build quality, and paint matched parts. Also I love that you bought your son a s13. Its like preserving a toy from the 90s for your son to enjoy even when all the others are destroyed.

NetGear, thanks for showing us your clean S13’s. These 2 cars remind me what it was like back in the late 90’s/early 2000’s when I started getting into them. Most people had simple clean builds like this without the fluff. Also, thanks for the words of wisdom at the end of the video. I have been preaching this for years and no one seems to listen.

Nissan really killed it in the 80's/early 90's with the two tones. Beautiful s13's. I'm glad you mentioned the stock fan clutch. I think a lot of us are having to unlearn the 2000's tuner hokum including the electric cooling fan bs.

I think what is missed a lot of the time in the car community today is the difference between TRYING to give a damn about your vehicle to improve it vs doing things to chase clout. People respect the former because they know how much time effort and money goes into making a clean car. People hate the latter because you end up with over-hyped and over-priced crap hence the current status quo of why people think schassis’s are all multi-colored clapped out rust bucket drift missiles.

If you want to turn heads in a RHD buy a Kei truck. The round headlight ones draw people in like a moth to a flame, lol. They are super useful on a big chunk of land, and could be a great city truck if you stay on back roads and can register them in your state. You can find pretty nice ones for sub 5k too if you're patient and ready to pounce on a deal. My 4x4 is a mountain goat even on stock tires...

I love the stock one, Something about a bone stock S13, And also a stock S14 and 15, Just feels like such a rarity. When it comes down to the while/gold one i feel like it doesn't really need anything, It looks to be in a really nice and clean shape. I kinda doubt it really needs a full restauration to be honest. Might as well save the money and enjoy that, Mainly because as soon as some parts look better, Some other parts will look worse and then it turns into a never ending project, But that's just me.

I have a 89 180sx with a blacktop sr20 like an oem plus build and a 1992 s13 coupe with a silvia front end and a s2 rb25 with a g30-770 making 479 whp at the moment and 398 tq thats my fun car i daily the 180 in nice weather such a fun car to drive imo really kick ass with good ac and heat has s15 seats really comfy for an s13 id drive it anywhere

I had a brz series blue new and it was a good deal. Now I have 370z nismo with 16k miles for just $35k. Clean no accidents. I have learned that you really do have to jump on good deals. Dealers in San Antonio Texas are generally rip off artists so I had to realize that times have changed and I had to shop online and use my best judgement on the condition but if you keep it under 20k miles and know there were no accidents you should be pretty good if the photos don’t show damage or rough interior. Of course if you are shopping for older cars or have a tighter budget then you can decide what is acceptable for you, but I was pretty fed up with driving a car that wasn’t in “perfect” condition. I wanted a car that really felt new again and I could maintain the interior which is really clean on the 370Z nismo 2015. I am a clean person with interiors so it is crazy how people will stain up their interiors and everything. If you go with all leather you should be free of stains but right now I have red suede and it’s great that it was all in good condition when I bought it. You can’t easily fix interior or exterior cosmetics things aside from polishing so it is really important that those things are good.
