I stopped the video when you said they were C,D, and F grade Rookies. Cmon grip, go look at the checklist. It's the same as the past 2 years, super small auto checklist. Worse rookie is probably one of the 3 rookie pitchers who aren't named Imanaga, Yamamoto or Skenes, with the other 25 autos being guys like Holliday, Merrill, Langford, Chourio, Cowser, etc. Go look at chrome vs cosmic chrome, the money spent per good rookie auto is about $2,000 in normal chrome, but you can get a good rookie auto or vet for about $1,000 of cosmic. Cosmic will blow chrome and chrome update out of the water, but I guess if nobody wants to buy it go right ahead and say it's bad so I can get it for cheaper and buy more cases!

This kid doesn’t research and doesn’t know how the hobby works. Cosmic has been the #1 Chrome product its first 2 years of its debut. The first year only 100 master sets could be put together. This is the way products were in the late 90s till around 2005.

Multiple times this year you've quoted steel city and other stores prices, remember when they had series 2 blasters for 30 or pro debut for 100 and on release day it's a different price. These store's try selling as high as possible from people who are too dumb to wait. Also it's not Montgomery club exclusive

People who want big players cards. Do the math, $ per good auto or good parallel card is way lower with cosmic because there's a majority of cosmic that's good players only. Grip wasn't entirely accurate with the checklist, check it out for yourself and see the difference!

The ROY debate is so tough. Skenes is by far the better player and by far probably the best rookie pitcher ever. But, I feel like Merril should still get it. Number 1, obviously position players have more opportunity to help their team every day. Merril was quite possibly the Padres best player in the first half except for maybe Profar. And that is largely the only reason they even could make the playoffs this year because without Profar and Merril, they would have just been in too big of a hole to pull out of. Skenes has been incredible, but it is just really hard to give it to a pitcher on a non-playoff team that literally has not had a shred of weight put on his back to carry them anywhere and just has to show up every 5 days and pitch without any worry of the outcome of the game. I vote for Merril just for the entirety of the year, the importance his specific individual performance has had on the outcome of the Padres season, and the fact that Skenes gets to just show up and pitch every 5 games and wins or losses don’t matter to the organization. I am a Yankees fan, BTW, and have no bias toward either player and love that we have some exciting young talent continuing to thrive in this league.

I hit a rainbow foil parallel of julio Rodriguez in cosmic chrome 2022, and it more than paid for the box, so you don't need to hit a huge parallel and a big auto to cover it

Screw that. Cosmic is literally the only release out there with nice looking chrome cards, great auto checklist, and great base checklist. I love making a complete set and having a better shot at a big player auto than other sets
