Likely both Colleen an Erik have a heterozygous allele slash basically group of genes, one codes for light hair the other for dark, the gene for dark hair is dominate so both Colleen and Erik express it. But because they are both probably heterozygous meaning they both have the gene for lighter hair (it’s just not expressed) they could both pass down that gene to Flynn. So Flynn has to be homozygous in order to express blonde hair and blue eyes. This is where the whole idea of a gene skipping a generation comes from. Sorry from my less than ideal grammar lol

3 days before your lil man turned 1 my lil man my first born the lil guy that made me a mama turned 19 and on that day I realized how fast the years went by.
