That dressing up at the beginning made me giggle. All of my friends go to HBCU's and they do that as well. I go to a PWI and we just roll out of bed and go. Dynamic is so different.

Girl it doesn't matter if you talk to your roommate before living together because I did and when we started living together I felt like I was catfished. That girl was just too much for me and I'm happy the year is over and I don't have to deal with her anymore.

I graduated from college in 2012 and I think it would be a great thing for you to talk about dating a relationships because I saw too many of my friends and other girls get caught up in bad situations. I didn't personally experience it because I stayed to myself a lot but I think it is definitely a great topic :)

Quick tip!!! >>>>There is a website called ratemyprofessor.com which allows students to post reviews on their professors and read them as well. I always look up future professors at my school before I enroll in any course!

This video was really helpful to me. I was kind of scared at first to go to college because I afraid that I was going to get off track because I'm going to be off track. I won't have my mom there to tell me don't do this or don't do that! It's beter to go in Undecided and get your main classes out of the way than to jump into a major. Most people chnage their major at least once and that's more of a waste of time! Some people even finish college and realize they don't like the jobs their degree applies to or just don't like the major they picked in general.

I got the same thing and still get told about it, for me it was if i have to pay for my education, why not pick and choose the right school for me. I knew I wanted to go out of state for college and I didn't let anyone tell me different. If you want to go away for school and that is where your heart is, go for it. Biggest advice to give you is don't settle for a school because you won't be happy there, believe me i've done it.
