@@derica818 earning both degrees had given me an edge in my workplace because I have a strong body of knowledge pertaining to the key psychological theories. Now combine this with the power behind a criminal justice degree, which has given me more of an edge in the job search process because I have a whole lot more to discuss with the interviewer in terms of my qualifications. Simply put, earning both degrees was both a flex 💪 and a way to enrich myself.

I’m also majoring in criminal justice! Currently pursing my AA in criminal justice while In high school and will continue my education with a B.S in Criminal justice as well. Hi love! Those 2 majors sound so good together! definitely try to get your minor in early on so you have a set plan of courses you wanna take, that’s why I don’t have a minor because I started double majoring pretty late so now if I wanted to minor I’d have to take maybe an extra semester!!💓

You’re going to be writing A LOT for the major so definitely handy to have a MacBook to write papers BUT if you get an iPad you can take notes + type because you can buy a detachable keyboard so honestly get the iPad (you can use it to take notes + read textbooks + write your papers + it’s way more portable than a MacBook) the only reason I have both is because I’ve had my MacBook since 2018 and just got my iPad but if I were to choose I’d go with the iPad it’s basically a hybrid of the two, I hope this helps!❤️

For my school the first ever criminal justice textbook I had to get was “essentials of criminal justice” www.amazon.com/Essentials-Criminal-Justice-Larry-Siegel/dp/1337557773/ref=nodl_ , but honestly it depends on your course and institution! One thing I will say is always try to find your books online for free because most of the time sites like libgen.is will have it and you won’t have to buy it at all (I got most of mine there last semester), if you ever have trouble finding a book for free don’t hesitate to reach out to me I’d be more than happy to help try to find it!💗

Honestly I’m not going to lie it’s a lot but it’s not TOO overwhelming I feel that the hardest part will definitely be law school but that’s depending on if that’s what you want to do but a ba in criminology is definitely something you should go for, just get ready to write a lot and read a lot
