Actually I love that you also showed that you got rejected from some universities. Because most of the videos I watched got accepted by nearly ALL universities and that stressed me a lot because I got rejections. This video showed me that it’s normal and okay

WOOHOO! I'm a trombonist in the USC marching band and it's changed my life. you'll never experience anything like attending usc. the professors and students are passionate, you get the historical and intimate campus, INSANE spirit (especially at the games) that's incomparable to any other school i know, the trojan network, and a work hard-play hard environment. congrats girl -- enjoy it :)

I can’t wait to see the smile on my moms face when I get into Med School and become a doctor. She wanted to be a lawyer but had to drop out of college to take care of me and my brother. I am 60, so I did all of this in 1980. It is really surprising to me how the reputations and difficulty of admissions have changed so much. In 1980 it didn't take much at all to get into USC (except $$$) or UCLA

Another thing I have seen people do is if you get rejected or wait listed. You can go to a state school for the first year. Then apply for a transfer for your sophomore year. Students drop out by then so then there is more room. In WI, where I live, the only selective state university we have is UW-Madison. And if you can't get in first year. I have heard of people going to school elsewhere and then transferring in their second year where it is then less selective.

Lauren has the cutest voice omg! Her family reminds me so much of my own, also have 2 sisters and 1 brother here lol! And hers all seem so supportive! Damn yo, if I was her I don't think I'd even go to a 4 year college! I mean it's just becoming so,,,, idk, it's just not the best option anymore for a lot of reasons. Clearly her family has money to go, which I can relate to, I also have 3 siblings and we all had 0 issue financially, and college after all is more important for the social experiences than the degree hanging on your wall. Honestly, life is about experiences, and you can have so many special experiences during those years that not everyone has a chance to ever do in their life! As far as being intelligent, successful, making money, and learning things, you 100% don't need to go away and live at a 4 year college to become a brilliant human being. But if you have the money than it's worth at least trying even if theres a good chance that a person like Lauren is certainly not gonna become 'more successful' from getting a degree.
