Hi Nancy, the bed storage space is 22” tall, 3 ft wide, and 6ft long. The wardrobes are 3.5 ft wide, 2ft deep, and 6ft tall. I wish I knew these measurements before coming to scad so I’m glad I could help you out!

Super helpful! We just visited SKAD last week and my daughter started the application process. She will be incoming 2023 if accepted. Is there a common kitchen area anywhere in The Hive? If so, would you do a short video showing it. My daughter is vegan and may like to have the option to cook for herself on occasion. Thx so much!

Thanks so much for watching! I hope your daughter goes to scad! Unfortunately there isn’t a common kitchen area. The only options are to use the microwave/fridge in your dorm or go to a dining hall or restaurant. The hive dining hall does have a vegan section though.

I found my roommate by dming her on Instagram asking if she was looking for a roommate and it worked out! I found my 2 other suitemates on the scad 2025 Instagram where they posted that they were looking for another pair of suitemates

Good question! My roommates and I had different schedules some days but even when we were all getting ready at once I never had a problem with having to share the bathroom. It also depends on whether your roommates are night or morning showerers.

It’s definitely hard having to share a small room with someone else but we are lucky to have a common room in our suite to have more space!
